Of course Cybil forgot her bathingsuit. We probably talked about it for 15 minutes this morning, debating weather we should bring it or not. We all decided yes and packed them along with our towels. All but Cybil that is. So naturally we have to go back to the hostel now to get her suit. Once we are out the door we joruney to the Szechenyi thermal baths to do at the Hungarians do. The afternoon was spent trying out the different pools and springs. It was lovely and relaxing and the best way to cool down after the warm days we have had here. Some of the views weren't as lovely and I think I either need a bikini to flaunt this hot bod, or they need to wear a little more to cover their not-so-hot bods.

June 10th- Budapest, Hungary
With the day full of travel yesterday, we were slow to get going adn got out just before lunch. We stopped in a grill before heading to Castle Hill to visit the hospital in the rock and explore the grounds of the Castle. There was a lot of construction going on on the castle grounds so naviagting was more than difficult. We were able to get a view of Budapest however and a wonderful look at the Parliament building on the edge fo the Danube. When we finally made it to the Hospital in the rock, we were ready for the chilly air of the caves. The hospital was built to house about 60 patients in emergency situations caused by air raids in te time of the war, but ended up providing medical services to more than 600 people at once. The cave system was used for a number of things: originally built as a safe zone for important persons, it served as the hospital, headquarters for the different regimes invading Hungary, and again relief during the revolution in the late 1950s. I got to sound an original air raid siren used during the war. That was really cool- once in a lifetime.
